Plagiarism Policy

Plagiarism screening will be conducted by Strata Law Review Editorial Board using Turnitin App

  1. Self-plagiarism and plagiarism are both forbidden;
  2. The author(s) must ensure that their works are completely original, and if they have cited or quoted the words or works of others, they must do so properly.
  3. In general, authors should not submit virtually identical findings to many journals or primary publications. It is against publication norms to submit the same work to many journals simultaneously; doing so is inappropriate.
  4. Always give credit to others when credit is due for their work. Authors are expected to cite books that contributed to defining the nature of the reported work.

Working Process:

  1. Editorial Team manually reviews the content on offline and online databases (verifying proper citation and quotation); and
  2. The manuscript will directly pass if the plagiarism is below 20%.
  3. It needs to be revised if indicated for minor plagiarism (<40%), and
  4. it will be rejected if indicated for major plagiarism (> 41%).
