The transformation of da’wah institutions from traditional models to digital ecosystems reflects a profound shift in the ways Islamic values are communicated and in the broader role of da’wah in supporting community empowerment. This study aims to analyze the digitalization process of da’wah institutions and its impact on the socio-economic empowerment of society through a qualitative approach based on content analysis and literature review. The findings indicate that digitalization enables da’wah to reach wider audiences through platforms such as YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, podcasts, and websites, which deliver religious content in the form of lectures, short videos, infographics, and live streaming sessions that are accessible and easily understood. Digital communication strategies—including the simplification of language, the strengthening of motivational narratives, platform algorithm optimization, and interactive engagement through online communities—have been shown to enhance religious literacy, self-confidence, social solidarity, and religious identity among Muslim audiences. Furthermore, digital da’wah contributes to economic empowerment by providing entrepreneurship education, digital skills training, and opportunities for community-based economic collaboration. This study concludes that the digital transformation of da’wah not only increases the effectiveness of religious communication but also expands its function as a driving force for socio-economic empowerment within the Muslim community. These findings have important implications for the development of more inclusive, professional, and sustainable models of digital da’wah.
