Sharia and Islamic Studies Review (SISR) is an open-access, international, peer-reviewed journal published by CV. Strata Persada Academia. Established in 2026, SISR is published biannually in July and December in electronic (online) format. The journal publishes original research articles and scholarly reviews covering comprehensive fields of Islamic jurisprudence and law, Islamic economics and finance, textual studies, Islamic literature, Islamic thought, Islamic history, and contemporary Islamic studies. SISR is dedicated to promoting critical and interdisciplinary perspectives on Islamic studies, with particular emphasis on the dynamic application and development of Sharia in regional and global contexts. By highlighting the practical implementation of Islamic law, socio-religious transformations, and contemporary Muslim experiences, the journal seeks to contribute rigorous and nuanced perspectives to global academic discourse, bridging classical Islamic scholarship with contemporary challenges. The journal welcomes scholarly contributions from researchers and academics worldwide, particularly studies employing multidisciplinary, comparative, contextual, and interdisciplinary approaches to Islam and Sharia.
