Focus and Scope

The primary aim of Strata Sharia and Islamic Studies is to disseminate high-quality academic research that contributes significantly to the understanding and development of Sharia and Islamic studies globally. We welcome submissions that offer novel perspectives, methodological advancements, and impactful findings.

Our core areas of coverage include, but are not limited to:

• Islamic Jurisprudence and Law: Fiqh, Usul al-Fiqh, Islamic Family Law, Islamic Criminal Law, and Comparative Law.

• Islamic Economics and Finance: Islamic Banking, Halal Industry, Zakat and Waqf Management, and Sharia-compliant Business Ethics.

• Textual Studies: Qur'anic Exegesis (Tafsir) and Hadith Studies.

• Islamic Thought and Philosophy: Islamic Theology (Aqidah), Mysticism (Tasawwuf), and Classical/Modern Islamic Philosophy.
